BOTULINUM TOXIN INJECTIONS
Botulinum toxin (BOTOX) injection causes temporary muscle paralysis and be used to improve crows feet and frown lines. It can also be used for neck bands with variable success. Injections need to be repeated every 6 months. This can become costly in the long term and facial expression can be affected.

CHEMICAL SKIN PEELS
I most commonly use 20% and 35% Trichloroacetic skin peels which remove the superficial and intermediate skin layers, and can be performed rapidly in the outpatient setting. The skin peel stimulates cells to produce more collagen which vastly improves the skin quality and reduces fine lines and blemishes.
Sun exposure should be avoided for 8 months to avoid pigmentation changes.

AVOID EXPOSURE TO SUN
Non surgical facial rejuvenation is becoming increasingly popular because it is less expensive than surgical alternatives. It also enables people to achieve a more youthful, refreshed appearance without having to undergo a surgical procedure.
The downside is that the benefits are often less dramatic and temporary. I do not believe in the use of minimally invasive thread lift as I do not believe the long and short term benefits are apparent.
RECOVERY 1-2 WEEKS
Fillers can be used to increase lip volume and reduce sagging. I will only administer temporary fillers a couples of times, however, as long term use can cause patients to develop problems with subcutaneous nodules (lumps). Fat injection or silicone PermaLip augmentation is a better long term option in my opinion. Fat transfer appears to have a rejuvenating effect on the overlying skin quality as well as restoring volume.
